Caloundra Beach

After Lunch at our local pub where we had this lamb and chilli mint Pizza, we drove down to Caloundra, to the water play area next to the beach, it's a large play area for all ages, a fenced area for the littlies, lots of pools of varying depths overlooking the ocean, this water fountain with various angeled jets.
Walk ways of tiles, concrete and mosaics with plenty of seating to rest, maybe sit and read or just enjoy the passing parade.

We also found these mosaic motifs scattered around the walkways.
This one is obviously the Hospital ship Centaur, which was sunk by a Japanes submarine off the Caloundra coast in May 1943. 268 people lost their lives.

And this mosaic is :this, the old beach changing pavilion
And so after a day of fun in the sun we are now off to Party, Party, it's one of the Support Team's birthday's today. Had a big party last Saturday so tonight is just family and close friends.
